At that time we didn’t know when and whether at all we’ll return to the Delta Queen and I admit I had some tears in my eyes when walking down the stage. The feelings were strong, and we returned in 1998 and from then every year, at least to one of the boats, the Delta Queen, Mississippi Queen or American Queen.Dan Landau, performer, songwriter and producer from Cincinnati has dedicated his new song "Godspeed, Delta Queen" the theme song for the efforts to save the Delta Queen. Besides having written a lot of great songs, Dan also has written and performed the official theme song of the Farewell Ceremony of Tall Stacks ‘95. I REMEMBER BAC HOME WHEN I WAS A KID WAS SO EXCITED TOO SEE THE DELTA QUEEN COME UP THE OHIO RIVER IN EASTLIVERPOOL OHIO .WISH I HAD THE MONEY TO SAVE THE BOAT !!!
