  • Delta Queen Memories

I have been in love with the DELTA QUEEN since I was a little girl growing up on the Ohio River. We could hear her blow for the lock above us when we were kids. Her whistle was different than the towboats. We knew that we were not to go to the river without an adult, so we’d be jumping up and down, screaming and yelling for someone to take us to the river.
Finally the year I turned 50 (they say life begins at 50), I thought about if I could do anything I wanted to do in the whole wide world what would it be? And you know what? Immediately, I thought about how much I had always wanted to ride the DELTA QUEEN. I took my first trip on her in September 2001. I just completed my 16th trip on her and have fallen even deeper in love with her, her crew and all she represents!

Promotion Material

Aug 8, 2007

All promotional material is free to use as long as you’re using it unaltered, non-commercial and only for the purpose of promoting the "Save the Delta Queen" campaign. Feel free to produce your own t-shirts, buttons, mugs, flags, banners, posters etc.

In any other case, for other purposes, for commercial use or of you doubt whether your usage is okay, please contact us prior to using it. You’ll need an explicit permission for this kind of usage. The logo is copyright protected: Copyright 2007, Franz Neumeier.

Save the Delta Queen logo

If you want to make your own promotion material with the "Save the Delta Queen" logo, here is the logo in high quality. The "Save the Delta Queen" logo has a resolution of 3,600 x 3,600 pixel (version 1) or 4,500 x 4,500 pixel (version 2), while the extra pixel in version 2 are only bleed, so it’s not bigger in size but has some extra space on the borders in case your printing process needs this (e.g. for buttons).

Simply copy the code from the box and insert it into your web page, postings or e-mails. Please be aware that the banners are not applicable for e-mails or postings and that some forums do not allow posting of pictures in the signature.
