An excellent, well-researched and superbly presented story which presents the case for the steamer DELTA QUEEN. Thanks to Mike Martini in Cincinnati for his wonderful effort. Mike's companion program on the Coney Island steamer ISLAND QUEEN last year was another of his riverboat stories masterfully told. It is now our job to make contacts with local radio stations about airing this DELTA QUEEN program. Meanwhile, the clock keeps ticking . . . November first is just around the bend. Let's not let up in our efforts now to preserve this priceless legacy on our inland rivers. SAVE THE DELTA QUEEN!
